Having Katie photograph our elopement was the best decision we made! She captured so many special moments for us that we will never forget. We were a little bit nervous to pose at first, (we’re certainly not naturals at it). Katie helped guide us and made us feel so comfortable with posing and most importantly, just being ourselves! Being photographed by Katie felt like hanging out with an old friend. My husband and I are looking forward to hiring her again when we welcome our daughter into the world this summer!

We asked Katie to photograph our wedding and were blown away with her artful photos. Katie was recommended to us via a dear friend who shot her wedding a year ago. We were drawn to her photography, her mastery of mis en scene, contrast, particularly indoor AND outdoor portraiture.
We were having a hard time finding a photographer as many of the websites that refer are corporate or point-and-click photographers that we were nervous to gamble on for our special day. However, when we met Katie, she immediately gave off a warmth, understanding, and kindness that assured us we were in the right hands. She also has a wonderful portfolio that offers variety and experience.
For our wedding day, Katie worked with us attentively, and was also incredibly friendly, helping to calm our nerves on our special day. She made sure to stick to our agreed upon schedule. She made accommodations for us when we had a tricky second and third location request for photos, which we were very grateful for. We decided to do a getting ready (together) photoshoot as opposed to a first-look, and she was not only able to facilitate that, but helped us setup some very intimate and sweet photos.
She captured so many moments perfectly and treated us well before, during, and after our special day. She was very vocal about her timeline of returning our photos, and also gave us a decently-sized sample preview the week after for us to look at and enjoy!
We love Katie, and recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful photos for any event!

I came across Katie on instagram, and she just so happened to be shooting mama mini sessions on my birthday! I saw how beautiful her pictures were on her socials, so I booked a session with her. Katie was so friendly, and I felt instantly comfortable with her. She was patient and gave great direction during the shoot with my baby and I. I was a little nervous, since my baby was super adventurous and crawling all over the place at the time, but Katie took advantage of this and the pictures are AMAIZING. It's clear she has a lot of experience. I am sooooo happy to have these moments she captured between my son and I, as I am normally the one BEHIND the camera. Where to begin? Honestly, just here to rave about Katie, so here goes. First, she is so kind, so professional and communicative, and so talented! We had to reschedule our mini session several times because of weather, and she was quickly accommodating and flexible around our busy schedule. Once we finally did meet her, she made us and our kids feel so comfortable from the beginning- I really appreciated her knack for offering direction when needed, but also capturing our wild family in their natural element! Even for a mini session, she never made us feel rushed. And I have to say, with a 3 year old and 7 month old, honestly most of the session felt like some degree of chaos, but the moments Katie was able to capture were unbelievably beautiful- a true pro. We will definitely turn to Katie in future to capture the ongoing chapters of our family life. Choosing Katie to capture a special moment in your life, you will not be disappointed.
